What is this privacy notice about?

This privacy notice applies to:

Why do we use your data?

  • To provide consultancy services to you or the company you work for, including sending you your Legal Ops Scorecard results,

  • When you request information from us or provide information to us,

  • To invoice and keep our accounts, and

  • To get in touch with you about our services.

We use your data to deliver and invoice for our services, to meet legal requirements like keeping accounts, and for our legitimate business interests, such as replying to enquiries and telling relevant professionals about our services. Where we use cookies that aren't essential, we ask for your consent.

What data do we collect?

Your name, job title, email address, phone number, company name and the content of any messages you send us and, if you complete our Legal Ops Scorecard, your answers to it (including your optional role and organisation). See our cookie policy for how we use cookies on our website.

How do we collect your data?

From you directly, from the company you work for, or via cookies.

How long do we keep your data for?

We only keep your data for as long as we need it. We only keep it longer if we're required to by law.

Who do we share your data with?

  • A productivity tool (Notion) so we can store your information, manage our work and deliver our services,

  • A web hosting provider (Squarespace) who processes information collected from you on this website,

  • Accounting software (FreeAgent) so we can invoice you,

  • Operational software providers (e.g. Google Workspace) to provide our services, and

  • Other organisations if required by law.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on a UK-approved safeguard, such as the UK-US data bridge or standard contractual clauses.

What are your rights in relation to your data?

  • To ask us about its collection and use,

  • To ask us for a copy,

  • To ask us to correct it or complete it,

  • To ask us to delete it,

  • To ask us to stop or restrict processing it, including contacting you about our services,

  • To ask us to send it to another organisation,

  • To withdraw consent at any time (if applicable), and

  • To complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (but please contact us for help first).
